Senior Software Engineer (Lowell, MA)

At ARIA we are working on bringing out next generation secure solutions that scale in performance, security, control, and deployment.  As part of the engineering team you will get the opportunity to develop solutions for the cloud and enterprise spaces; utilizing the best in class technologies, tools, and process’.   The security solutions will address data at rest, data in flight, and data in use – moving away from the traditional security paradigms used in today’s products to a new paradigm that will be seen as disruptive to market place.

The role involves the design, development, and testing of various layers of the solution from infrastructure as a service to the platform as well as the security services control and data plane, for the cloud and enterprise.  Qualified candidates will have demonstrated performing business requirements analysis to successfully design and deliver complex, platform agnostic solutions, with limited or no management.  Strong candidates will have demonstrated the ability to be responsible for limited architecture skills, expressing ideas that lead to your design concepts influencing the direction of the team and capable of developing and testing applications using existing and emerging technology platforms.

What you’ll do:

  • Work on products that bring security solutions to the cloud, private and public, as well as to the enterprise,
  • Build the next generation of security solutions and scalable deployment models,
  • Collaborate with team members from design to implementation as well integration and test,
  • Work with different technologies, development process’, tools, and open source,
  • Work along with architects to influence design decisions that will have significant impact on the product, and
  • Be a key contributor to the design, development, and product functionality of the next generation security solutions.
